I was quite impressed but some things are just a bit odd and confusing. The oddest thing is in my opinion are the announcements, that man has such a funny accent.
There were quite a few roundtrippers ex Dover and apparently the Calais shorecrew was given the opportunity of visiting the ship today. They closed the office in Calais for this. Otherwise the ship was very lightly loaded. On our return we had 1 coach and perhaps 40 cars. The Spirit of Britain is light and airy but I'm not sure (neither is the crew) how she will handle the large volume of traffic during the summer.
